Land-based opportunities like the ropes challenge course and adventure races promote team building and camaraderie. If you’d rather make a splash during your summer camp activities, try the Ocoee Retreat Center’s waterpark or a world-class guided rafting trip down the Ocoee River. You’ll make memories for a lifetime no matter the setting. What’s more… you’ll have access to basketball and volleyball courts, field games and on-property hiking trails. Our campus is your personal playground for the duration of your visit.

Our group activities focus on teamwork, improving communication, and developing mutual respect and understanding. Together we’ll create an unforgettable experience!

You don't need to stay to play. Bring your group for a single day of fun if you’re not planning an overnight trip. A group planner will set you up for hours of action-packed awesomeness. Just call! Advanced reservations are encouraged.

Lake Awesome

One of Ocoee Retreat Center’s signature summer camp activities!

Enjoy our seven-acre lake with swimming and playing under the watchful eyes of Ocoee Retreat Center lifeguards. Bounce around on the coolest lake toys ever, including the “Big Bubba” giant blob, the “Free Fall” slide, jousting balance beam and trampolines. These large inflatable attractions provide swimmers a full day of entertainment with a chance to support and encourage each other along the way.

Ocoee River Rafting

Off-Site Activity • Additional $20 Fee

Raft America’s favorite whitewater run with skilled guides from Nantahala Outdoor Center, “One of the Best Outfitters on Earth.” The Middle Ocoee offers continuous, splashy Class III-IV rapids that give rafters a taste of an amazing whitewater rush. Plus, you’ll be able to say you rafted on an Olympic river—the Ocoee River was home to the 1996 Olympic Kayak Slalom course. It’s also fun to mention you ran Grumpy’s, Double Trouble and Table Saw, all names of rapids on the Middle Ocoee.

Water Park

Spend the day cooling off in our Water Park where there’s something for thrill seekers and sun bathers alike. A relaxing lazy river winds around the entire park, plus there’s a full-sized wave pool, a challenging 35-foot water-sprayed climbing wall, and duel 250’ water slides landing in huge splash pool. It’s the best of all worlds.

Note: A 30-person minimum is required for this activity.

Lower Ocoee River Tubing

Off-Site Activity • Additional $10 Fee

Cruise the river in a 2-hour tubing trip! The Lower Ocoee River is a lazy, winding waterway where friends can enjoy talking, laughing or just chilling out for the duration of the activity. It's an intimate way to enjoy nature and take everything in, so of course it’s a summer camp favorite!

Paintball

Take on the three-acre paintball field while navigating trees, barriers, forts, and a creek that runs through the middle of the course. Be your own warrior, or start a team to challenge your opponents. Kids love the excitement and energy this activity presents, so if you’ve got an adrenaline-loving group, paintball is highly recommended.

Ocoee Retreat Center provides the masks, CO2, paint, paintball guns, and trained referee officials.

MEGA ZIP LINE & AERIAL PARK

Test your limits in the High Ropes Challenge Course with breathtaking 1000-foot twin zip lines, a 50-foot climbing wall and giant swing soaring 80 feet into the sky. Develop teamwork and problem solving skills while conquering elements such as the cable maze, key punch, and the wall located within the Hidden Forest.

The Low Ropes Challenge Course bolsters communication skills, problem-solving, and collaboration as well. Your group works together to overcome eight unique obstacles (and themselves) in this complex human puzzle we call The Hidden Forest.

These activities are fast, breathtaking and exhilarating, and they’re all designed to challenge participants in a controlled and safe setting.
